Local 342 annual membership dues are $125. There is a one-time initiation fee of $100 if you are new to the AFM or $35 if you are currently a member of another Local or have resigned your previous AFM membership in good standing.
Joining requires a completed application, the appropriate initiation fee and a minimum of six month’s dues. Total joining fees:
New to the AFM – $225 for one year; $162.50 for 6 months.
Currently a member or resigned in good standing: $160 for one year; $97.50 for 6 months.
Special joining opportunity for self-contained bands: If all members of a group join at the same time, the initiation fee is waived for all.
